Elka’s adjustment options:
High- and low-speed compression adjust ability

This device allows for independent adjustment of the shock absorber's high- and low-speed
compression damping stages to deliver both optimum reactivity to small bumps and the right resistance
for large impacts. The high-velocity damping for big hits, sharp edges and jumps can be fine-tuned
independently from the low-velocity damping for turning, cornering and accelerating.
The Elite Series features our Self-Sagging Device that lowers the ride height for better stability and
more reactive up travel by keeping the wheels on the ground when the vehicle goes over a hole or rut.

Racing conditions can vary dramatically from one track to another; extreme differences in terrain are
sometimes even found within the same track. With the extra adjustment options of our Elite Series,
riders can adjust their suspension to react with optimal efficiency over an entire track without
compromise. The Elite Series high- and low-speed compression device also helps the shock absorber
run cooler than is the case with standard adjustable-compression shocks because of reduced
restriction to the oil flow. This translates into less fading and longer shock life.
The Elite Series of front shock absorbers is offered with high- and low-speed compression adjustably,
with or without rebound adjust ability. Most racing quads will derive the greatest benefit from the
described features at the rear end, for which the Elite Series offers a single configuration: both high-
and low-speed compression adjust ability and rebound adjust ability.
Compression and rebound adjust ability
Elka Suspension’s compression device provides a wide range of highly effective adjustment so you can
adapt and fine-tune your shock absorbers for different tracks or riding conditions. You can add or
remove hydraulic resistance with the simple turn of a easy-to-access knob. The 40 clicks of our
rebound adjuster provides precise adjustment within a very wide range. Elka shock absorbers feature a
check ball that isolates the compression adjustment from the rebound adjustment.
Our Sports & Racing Series have become a reference in performance fully adjustable racing shock
absorbers. The reliability, wide range of adjustment and quality of Elka shocks has made them very
popular among racers and sports riders. Magazine editors have given Elka Suspension more coverage

Standard features of Elka Suspension shock absorbers include:

Recreational Series Shock Absorbers Now Available With External Piggyback Reservoir.
Our most affordable line of high-quality shock absorbers now offers even more options, performance
and ease-of-use.
Riders on a budget looking for a custom-built suspension set-up can now get their hands on an external
reservoir piggyback version for the front end of their quad. The reservoir will allow greater oil flow and
keep the internal temperature lower. This provide a more consistent damping action and greatly reduce
fading for more comfort on longer rides.
Also available as a remote reservoir version, the Recreational Series share all the same quality
components and craftsmanship as our higher-end racing shocks. You get custom valving and spring
set-up perfectly suited to your personal riding needs. With adjustable preload and multi-spring
configurations, they are user-friendly and simple to adjust. Just bolt them on and they are ready to ride!
The Recreational Series are available for most sport and sport-utility ATVs.

CNC-Machined Billet Aluminium

Our linkages are precision CNC-machined from aeronautical grade aluminium for an optimal balance of
strength, weight and clearance. They are anodized for an attractive and long-lasting finish, and high-quality
needle bearings ensure longer life and smooth operation. Our Raptor and Z400 models also feature greasing
zerks for easy lubrication. They are strong and resistant without any major weight penalty.

The stock suspension on your ATV was designed for a limited amount of travel and not optimized for use with
long travel performance shock absorbers. Suspension upgrades increase travel and lower the vehicle, but
they also cause harsh spots in the wheel travel. To obtain the maximum travel and smoothness, our engineers
have developed a linkage that is perfectly matched to Elka Suspension shock absorbers. Our linkages
eliminate all harsh spots and provide longer and more active wheel travel while lowering the ride height.

Compatible with virtually all swingarms, our linkages doesn’t require any major modifications to your ATV
except for the skid plate which might need more clearance in some cases. They are anodized to match the
beautiful look of your Elka Suspension rear
